Billing and Payment
Clients are expected to pay their fee at the end of each session unless other arrangements have been made. I accept major credit (debit) cards and cash.
I am currently contracted with Blue Cross of CA. and Blue Shield Insurance Companies. I can also provide you with a standardized “Super bill” receipt for reimbursement purposes that some insurance companies may accept for some type of reimbursement. I will provide client name, social security number, diagnosis, date and type of services and fees paid. It is solely your responsibility to check with your insurance company prior to attending your first session. You will want to ask questions such as:
- Does my plan cover mental health services?
- Can I be reimbursed for services with a provider out of network?
- What is the reimbursement rate?
- Do I have a deductible that needs to be met?
- How many sessions does my plan cover?
Please note: You are responsible for all fees at the time of services rendered.
Missed and cancelled appointments
I understand that our lives can be very busy with work and family, but I expect a minimum of 24 hours (1 day) notice for rescheduling of appointments or cancellations. The full fee will be charged for sessions missed without prior notification.
